[edit]DescriptionMe 262s at Fassberg in 1945.jpg | A group of captured Messerschmitt Me 262 aircraft under armed guard at Faßberg, Lower Saxony (Germany), a former Luftwaffe airfield, circa in May 1945. The aircraft at left is `black X' of KG 51, W.Nr. 500200. This Me 262 was flown from Zatec, Czechoslovakia, by lieutenant Froelich and surrendered to British forces. It is now in the collection of the Australian War Memorial. The middle aircraft is `white 5', a Me 262A-1 of JG 7, W.Nr. 111690. | ||
