Description
English: Colony of Lesser Frigate Birds (Fregata ariel) on McKean Island, Phoenix Islands, Kiribati. Original field notes: Dominant vegetation is puncture vine (Tribulus cistoides), an extremely spiny vine which punctures not only bare feet but shoes as well!
