Otaheite Orange. NEW OTAHEITE DWARF ORANGE. HMONG the new varieties of oranges that have been re- cently introduced from Japan and other countries, there is one dwarf free-flowering variety, which is suitable for pot cultue, and which with anyone proves one of the most desirable pot plants it is possible to possess. We refer to the Japanese Otaheite. While it will grow three or four feet high and branch freely, it is not an uncommon thing to see little cutting plants five or six inches high full of bloom, and even bearing one or two medium-sized oranges. The fruit at their best are not more than half the size of an ordinary or- ange, but are very bright and beautiful in color, delicious in quality; but it is for its flowers more than its fruit which commends it to general cultivation. When it blooms it is so full that it seems to be all flowers. The pure waxy-white blossoms emit a delicate yet powerful fragrance, which is surpassed by no other flower. Price, two-and-half-inch pots, 40 cents per dozen, $3 per hundred; four-inch pots, 75 cents per dozen, $6 per hundred. SALVIA SPLENDENS. The well known dozen: $3 per hundred. scarlet variety. Price, 40 cents per LOPESIA ROSEA. Fine red flowering plants, blooming continually from November to April: fine for cut flowers. Price, 5 cents each: 50 cents per dozen: $3 per hundred. GOLDEN LEMON THYME. The leaves are curiously edged and variegated with golden-yellow, increasing in brilliancy or color as the Autumn approaches, giving it the appearance of a bed of gold. Price, 5 cents each: 50 cents per dozen: $3 per hundred. DOUBLE PETUNIAS. DREER'S VARIETIES. Unsurpassed in brilliancy of colors and the size of flow- ers. They include all the brightest shades of pink, purple, rose, white, crimson, etc. They have been carefully selected and the most of them are beautifully fringed. Price, 50 cents per dozen; $4 per hundred. RUSSELIA JUNCEA. One of the finest basket or vase plants known. In growth it produces long, wiry stems, which are virtually leafless. Upon these stems and branches the flowers are borne. They are about the size of a Manettia, long, trumpet-shaped and brilliant scarlet in color. These lovely blossoms are borne in wonderful profusion during most of the year. Price, strong plants, 50 cents per dozen: $3.00 per hundred.
