White Portugal, or Silverskin. A large, flat onion of mild flavor; fine for earlv winter use, and much esteemed for pickling. 5c pkt., 20c oz., 75c 34 lb., S2.50 lb. Large \\ liite Globe. This is one of the finest onions in ctiltivation, both in appearance and quality. It is large, globe-shaped, firm, fine grained and of excellent flavor, and comniands a higher price in tha market than anv other white onion grown. 5c pkt., 20c oz., 75c 34 lb., §-2.50 lb. Wliite Barletta. A very early, small, pure white variety, having a very delicate silver skin, flesh firm and mild in fljivor. Its"great merit over all others is its extreme earliness. For pickling purposes it is unequaled 5c pkt., 20c oz.,60c 341b.,S2.00 lb. The Queeu. A handsome silver-skinned variety; esteemed for its rapid gromh, mild flavor and fine keeping qualities. 5e pkt., 20c oz., 60c 34 lb., S2.00 lb. Mammoth Silver King. Single Onions of this variety, grown from seed he first season, have weighed as mtich as three potmds. It mattires early, is a white-skinned and white-fleshed variety, flat shape, and of a mild and delicate flavor 5cpkt., 20c oz., 65c 34 lb., ?2.25 lb. Prize Taker. This is the large beautiftil Onion that is seen every fall offered for sale at the frtiit stores in New York and other large cities. They are a rich straw color and of enormous size, averaging 12 to 14 inches in circtimierence. Although of stick great size it is very hard and an excellent keeper 5c pkt., 20c oz., 50c 34 Ih., Si.751b. Mammoth Pompeii or Giant Red Garganiis. This fine Italian variety has produced Onions weighing 4 to 5 lbs. each. The skin is a delicate red, fiesh close grained, nearly white, and of a very mild flavor. 5c pkt., 20c oz., 60c )i lb., §2.00 lb. FJVR^XvKY. (Petersilie, Ger.) One Omice to 150 Feet of Drill. Used for garnishing and seasoning soups, meats, etc. Succeeds best in a mellow, rich soil. Sow thickly early in April, in rows one foot apart and one-half inch deep; thin out the plants to stand six inches apart in the rows. The seed is of slow germination, taking from three to four weeks to make its appearance, and often failing to come up in dry weather. To assist its coming up quicker, soak the seed a few hours in warm water or sprout in damp earth, and sow when it swells or bursts. For winter use protect in a frame or light cellar. 3I0SS Curled. Fine for garnishing. 5c pkt; 10c oz; 20c 34 lb; 60c lb. Extra Double Cui-led. A very select stock, beautiftilly crimped and curled 5c pkt., 10c oz., 25c 34"lb., 75c lb.
