Mayors of City

New Brunswick was incorporated December 30, 1730, just two weeks head of New York City, and rechartered in 1763. A third charter was obtained under the State government in September, 1784. The first mayor under this Charter was Azariah Dunham who served from 1784 to 1790. Then came John Bayard who was in office until 1796. The other mayors were as follows:
