Deutsch: Maximilianstraße; Maxmonument, Denkmal für König Maximilian II., 1875 von Caspar Zumbusch; im Schnittpunkt der Maximilians- und der Thierschstraße. Bronzefigur auf hohem Pfeiler, von allegorischen Figuren umgeben. Das Rondell des Maxmonumentes begrenzen östlich samt dem anschließenden Straßenstück steinerne Gartenmauern mit Balustrade und vasenbekrönten Pfeilern, 1881 von Carl Leimbach (nördlich zu Thierschstraße 46, südlich zu Maximilianstraße 54 und 56 sowie dem Eckhaus Steinsdorfstraße 1 gehörig). |
