Deutsch: Vorderseite: MAXIMILIAN9 MAGNANIM9 ARCHIDVX AVSTRIE BVRGVND -/ ETA-TIS 19 [9 für VS]. Brustbild Maximilians mit langem Haar nach rechts.
Rückseite: MARIA KAROLI FILIA HERES BVRGVND BRABA CONIVGES -/ ETAT-IS 20. Brustbild Marias von Burgund mit hochgestecktem Haar nach rechts, darunter die Jahreszahl 1479. Kommentar: Die Vorderseite ist oben gelocht. Dort auch eine Tuscheaufschrift mit Ziffer 1371. - Diese 'Schaumünzen' mit den jugendlichen Bildnissen Kaiser Maximilians und seiner ersten Gemahlin Maria von Burgund sind nach einer 1479 datierten Medaille von Giovanni Candida zwischen 1511 und 1518 auf persönliche Anordnung des Kaisers in der Münzstätte Hall in Tirol entstanden. Sie zeigen Maximilian im Alter von 19, Maria im Alter von 20 Jahren. Die Stempel sind von Ulrich Ursentaler geschnitten worden. Die Bildnisse gehen wiederum zurück auf die von Giovanni Candida geschaffene Medaille anläßlich der Hochzeit 1477. Maximilian und Maria von Burgund galten als das schönste Fürstenpaar Europas als sie 1477 heirateten. Maria war die Tochter Herzog Karls des Kühnen von Burgund brachte das burgundische Erbe ihres im gleichen Jahr vor Nancy gefallenen Vaters in die Ehe ein. Sie ist, von Maximilian tief betrauert, bereits 1482 im Alter von 25 Jahren gestorben. Diese repräsentativen Schaustücke (die auch in Gold existieren, Objektnummer 18217877) signalisieren das allmähliche Aufkommen silberner Großsilbermünzen, zeigen aber auch die Verbundenheit, die Maximilian seiner ersten Frau bewahrt hat.
