Description

English: Note 1: Although the BAnQ notice mentions 1938, this photo was actually created at least as early as the 1936 election, as evidenced by its publication in this advertising in The St. Maurice Valley Telegraph, August 6, 1936, page 4 and in the first page in La Patrie, August 18, 1936.
Note 2: Although the BAnQ notice does not mention the author and mentions that the negative used for this image is located in the J.E. Livernois Ltée collection, it seems that the photo was the work of the studio Dupras and Colas.
