Links ein Brunnen, dahinter eine knorrige Eiche, rechts eine hohe Linde mit einer Balkengalerie als Laube. Im Hintergrund der Neckar mit der Neckarbrücke und das Dorf Untertürkheim mit der Kirche St. Germanus vor der Zerstörung 1634.

Der Sinnspruch „Aut verba, aut verbera“ („Prügel und gute Worte“) wird illustriert durch eine Frau, die zwei Kühe mit Salz lockt, während zwei Bauern die Kühe stoßen und prügeln.
