Description
English: "NOHARA-YAGURA(Nohara Turret)" of Matsuyama Castle (Important Cultural Property of JAPAN).: This turret along with INUI Turret provided protection on the northwest side of the main castle. This is the oldest structure in The Matsuyama Castle. (Ehime JAPAN)
日本語:日本国指定の重要文化財である松山城 野原櫓は、西北の本丸石垣に面して建てられた二重櫓で、大入母屋屋根の中ほどに2間半の2階を載せており、望楼起源説による大屋根の上に造られた物見櫓から天守建築が始まったとする論拠となる構造となっている。（愛媛県松山市）
