Description A rare plate from Provincia Eva Peron. In 1952 the Argentine province of La Pampa was renamed Provincia Eva Peron in honor of the famous Argentinian. In 1956 when the Peron family fell from grace the province was renamed La Pampa. A tab was issued with the name La Pampa which covered up Eva Peron's name on the plate. Note the bolt holes in the "E" and after the "N" in her name where the tab was affixed covering her name. Also you will notice the date tab of 1956 with the renamed provincial name.
