Description
The Union started life as the Mette Katrine built in 1876 in Tåsinge by Christen Andersen (Yard no. 5). Owned by a shipping company in Nordby, Fanø led by H.M. Clausen. In 1895 she was sold to N. Ankersen (also of Nordby, Fanø) and her name was changed to Union). In 1897, Ankersen sold her to R.S. Hansen of Thurø, and she became the Gylfe but was lost in November 1897.
