English: Early typewriter, the Mignon, produced from 1905 to 1934 by Allgemeinen Elektrizitaets-Gesellschaft (AEG), Berlin, Germany. This was called an index typewriter; to operate it, the pointer was pointed at a letter, and the key to the right was pressed to type it. The types are on a metal 'typesleeve' seen at top, which could be changed to type different fonts and character sets for different languages. The Mignon was the most successful index typewriter, and was exported to other European countries. This model was probably the Mignon 3, since it doesn't have a backspace key to the right. Polski: maszyna do pisania "Mignon 3" lub "Mignon 4" z pocz. XX wieku, ze zbiorów Muzeum Gospodarstwa Domowego w Ziębicach
