Description
English: Darkot is 8,875 ft above sea level in Yasin valley in Gilgit Baltistan, Northern Pakistan. This lush green (in summer) and heavy snow covered (in winter) is a Must-Visit-Place for nature lovers. This valley is gateway to Broghul and Pamir Corridor. The famous British explorer George W. Hayward was killed in this valley in 1870.
