Summary
[edit]DescriptionMassive Stone Pier in Dyker Heights.jpg |
English: This massive stone pier is located at the southeast corner of Eleventh Avenue and 79th Street. Two of the massive stone piers are addorned with scrolls and are now located within yards of later homes, whereas two smaller piers are located near the street, on the sidewalk. This group of four piers is the only complete set of the original entrance ways of Dyker Heights. Originally, atop the scrolls were large lanterns, burning gas. |
