Description
English: During the celebration of Maslenitsa, a large doll is made from fabric and straw, which simultaneously embodies Winter and Maslenitsa, and in different regions it can be called differently “Winter”, “Maslenitsa”, “Cold”. The epilogue of the holiday is the burning of Winter, that is, the symbolic destruction of winter and cold weather.
