[edit]Mrs. Mary R. McPheeters. Ocala, Florida. Mrs. Mary Eva Rhodes McPheeters, 87, Lemon Avenue, died Monday at her home after a long illness. Mrs. McPheeters was born January 2, 1869 in Algiers, Indiana, and came to Ocala in 1931. She was a member of the First Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons. Ralph and Lester McPheeters, both of Ocala; Harry McPheeters, Garden City, New York; two grandsons, Dr. Harold McPheeters, Louisviile, Kentucky; Don McPheeters, Poughkeepsie, New York; three granddaughters, Louise McPheeters, Ocala; Mrs. Shirley Peckham and Janice McPheeters, also of Garden City. J. Miles Hiers Funeral Home is in charge.
