Description
English: Mary Emily 'May' Prinsep, albumen print on gold-edged cabinet. Photograph by Julia Margaret Cameron. 'May' Prinsep (1853–1931) was the daughter of Charles Robert Prinsep of the Anglo-Indian Prinsep family. She was married first to Andrew Hitchens, and second to Hallam Tennyson. She sat frequently for photographs by Julia Margaret Cameron.
