Description
English: Mary Elizabeth Gossler née Bray (1810–1886), wife of banker and Berenberg Bank partner Johann Heinrich Gossler (1805–1879). A native of Boston, she was a granddaughter of Samuel Eliot. The painting is owned by Berenberg Bank.
