ss.Some would seek it in learning and books, in colleges, and halls ofscience. But the poor, weary student says, Happiness is not here.Oh! where is it to be found—can I not find it in pleasure ? Sinners!it is not to be found in the dance and ball room, in the theater, inthe opera, or in the giddy maze of pleasure. There comes from allthose that seek it in such places the same sad words, Happiness isnot here. Let me ask all of you who have sought happiness insuch places as these, if it is not so.
