Español: Placa de inauguración de la Alcubilla de Aguas de la Trinidad (1690), situada en los jardines de la Madre Petra, junto al colegio de San José de la Montaña, en la avenida del Doctor Gálvez Ginachero, Málaga, España. Se trata de un depósito de agua en el que se almacenaba para que adquiriera presión y se dirigiera por canalizaciones hacia el centro de la ciudad. La alcubilla, junto con otra (hoy desaparecida) en el margen izquierda del río Guadalmedina, pertenecía a una antigua infraestructura de abastecimiento de agua conocida como 'Aguas de la Trinidad' (1532-1556), obra que conducía el agua desde las minas del Almendral del Rey, en la margen derecha del arroyo Teatinos, hasta la ciudad de Málaga. Su traza actual data del año 1690, según se indica en una placa situada en su fachada sur. La alcubilla fue rehabilitada en el año 2017, respetando el revestimiento rojizo que se le aplicó en el siglo XIX, posiblemente con motivo de la visita de la reina Isabel II en 1862. La rehabilitación permitió descubrir un paramento anterior, que simulaba sillares, del que se dejó un testigo en su fachada oeste.[1]
La inscripción dice: «Reinando la Católica Magestad de D. Carlos Segundo se reedificó toda esta cañería y se ysieron estas dos arcas siendo gobernador político y militar de esta ciudad el Sr. General de la Artillería D. Francisco Miguel de Pueyo Ruis de Azagra Sr. de la Billa de Merlofa de su Consejo Maestre Racinal del Reino de Aragón gentilhombre de boca de Su Magestad siendo diputado el Sr. don Luis Antonio de Mora Billalta Regidor Perpetuo de esta Ciudad. Año de 1690». |
