Deutsch: Blick vom Kirchturm der Wehrkirche in Martinsberg (rum. Șomartin, ung. Mártonhegy) auf die Flēßgasse (vorne). Unten die Kirchengasse. Der sächsische Name Flēßgasse kommt aus der Türkenkriegszeit, als das Dorf von türkischen Truppen überfallen und geplündert wurde. Dabei wurden zahlreiche Bewohner ermordet und ein Strom von Blut floss diese Gasse hinunter (sächsisch: Flēß = Fluss). Im Anschluss war die Zahl der Einwohner so dezimiert, dass die einheimischen Sachsen rumänische Bauern aus dem benachbarten Fogarascher Land einluden, sich in ihrem Dorf anzusiedeln.
Das Gebäude mit dem eingestürzten Dach ist ein ehemaliges Lebensmittelgeschäft. Links, über dem Fluss, auf dem Abhang des Hügels sind kleine Häuschen zu sehen, die ehemalige Ţiganie (Romaviertel) des Dorfes. |
