'As you like it (2000)' by Dutch artist Martine Neddam. ‘…De wereld is een theater. En allen, man of vrouw, zijn acteurs – meer niet. Ze komen op, gaan af en spelen vele rollen in hun leven. Zeven bedrijven lang…’ Dit citaat uit ‘As you like it’ van William Shakespeare vormde het uitgangspunt voor het bijzondere kunstwerk dat Martine Neddam maakte voor de (pal naast schouwburg Odeon gelegen) faculteit Drama van ArtEZ (Praubstraat Zwolle). De onthulling van het kunstwerk was de apotheose van de grondige verbouwing van het historische pand dat in 2000 in gebruik werd genomen. |
