Description The sailor looking up to the immense aircraft and engine's ( Pratt and Whitney R-288-22) of this amphibian was Miel Koelhuis and one of the survivors of the latest crash with this type in the MLD. This must be than the crash on 17 dec 1959 near Fak Fak in the Patibay on New Guney. Data around 1960, location Biak probably. Photo found on facebook.
