Description
Deutsch: Die Kirche wird erstmal 1239 urkundlich erwähnt. sie ist aber älter und gehörte ursprünglich zum Kirchenspiel Steinbek. 1248 wurde sie zur Tauf- und Gemeindekirche erhoben. Die 1542 vollzogene Reformation bestand die Kirche unbeschadet. Sie würde häufig umgebaut, doch der älteste Teil (die Nordwand) steht noch heute. Im Jahr 1888 wurde der im frühgotischen Stil der 45m hohe Kirchturm erbaut. Das Geläut der Kirche besteht aus 4 Bronzeglocken Der Anbau des südlich gelegenen Konfirmandensaals erfolgte 1935.

Bis 1865 befand sich rund um die Kirche ein Friedhof.

Seit 1968 steht die Kirche unter Denkmalschutz.
