Español: Foro - Realidad Étnica y Cultural de RISARALDA - Con una gran asistencia de público, se desarrolló el Foro organizado por la diputada de Mira en la asamblea departamental, Martha Cecilia Álzate. En el marco de este foro, la diputada Álzate, señaló que la problemática de Risaralda no es ajena al resto del país tanto en la población indígena, como en la población afro colombiana, donde por ejemplo: El 69% de afro colombianos no asisten a ninguna institución educativa.
El 11% de las niñas y los niños afro colombianos no asisten a la escuela Primaria, y la cifra subió al 27% en la educación media en el año 2007, según Afrodes y Global Rights. Se logró que se pusiera en marcha el proyecto Emberá Wera en Risaralda, el proyecto se constituye en pieza fundamental para la expedición del “Mandato de la Mujer Indígena” documento que lo convalidó más de 500 mujeres quienes expresaron su voluntad de erradicar esta práctica y garantizar además su protección contra toda forma de violencia. |
