Description

El consejero de Agricultura, Medio Ambiente y Desarrollo Rural, Francisco Martínez Arroyo, se ha reunido con la alcaldesa de Tomelloso, Inmaculada Jiménez, y ha participado en el tradicional acto de campaña de vendimia de la mayor bodega cooperativa de la región, Virgen de las Viñas.

Martínez Arroyo ha señalado que “Tomelloso es para el Gobierno de Castilla-La Mancha un lugar relevante en materia agraria y agroalimentaria, de hecho, la apuesta de la investigación de toda la región está en Tomelloso, en el IRIAF (antiguo IVICAM)”. “Desde aquí, no solo vamos a gestionar la investigación vitivinícola sino que, además, vamos a gestionar la política de investigación en su conjunto” incluyendo los centros que están en otros municipios. Por tanto, como ha asegurado, “Tomelloso va a ser una referencia a lo largo de todo este tiempo”.
