Description

La Joliette | Quai de la Joliette/Boulevard des Dames This Art Deco building was built to receive the headquarters of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique, which became the Société Nationale Maritime Corse Méditerranée (SNCM) in 1976. In May 2012, the building occupied by the headquarters of the SNCM was sold and the new owners want to develop 6,000 m2 of offices, a hundred apartments, 2,000 m2 of shops and a 4 stars "tourist residence". The architectural Marseille firm Poissonnier-Ferran was chosen to lead the restructuring operation. Arch. Gaston Castel
