Description

Cinq-Avenues | Rue Espérandieu The Longchamp Palace is composed of three entities: a central water tower with a semicircular colonnade on both sides built to commemorate the arrival in Marseilles of water from River Durance, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum. Arch. Henri Espérandieu 1869.

At the rear of the palace, located in the Longchamp park, are located the botanical garden and zoo, although the latter hasn't hosted animals anymore since the late 1980s.
