Summary

[edit]
Description This is a near life-size bronze warrior, from the late 5th or early 4th century BC, found near Todi (ancient Tuder) on the slope of Mount Santo. It had been buried in antiquity, perhaps ritually, and remained so until is was unearthed in 1835. It's regarded as one of the finest examples of bronze sculpture of the era made in Etruria found in Umbria.
