Description Maj. Gen. Paul LaCamera, deputy commanding general of U.S. Army Special Operations Command and former commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment, hosts the MARS Task Force memorial stone dedication on Fort Liberty, N.C. Sept. 14. Thirteen veterans of the MARS Task Force Mountain Artillery Association, the 612th and 613th Field Artillery Battalions (PK), participated in the ceremony, considered a significant part of the lineage of today's 75th Ranger Regiment.
