La route a retrouvé ses 300m de changement de rive antique vers environ 1990. C'est après cent années de franchissement en galerie et tunnel très dangereux restant rive-droite que deux ponts neufs reconstruits permettent de quitter l'aplomb de la barre rocheuse.
