Description
English: Marrick Priory, beside the River Swale, east of Reeth, in Swaledale, North Yorkshire. Little remains of the original Benedictine nunnery (founded circa 1154, possibly originally a Cistercian establishment), apart from the church tower and some fragmentary walls, now surrounded by farm buildings. Some of the buildings are used as a residential outdoor education centre.
