Het bankroet was te vermijden maar niemand nam het initiatief. Barclays wilde onderdelen overnemen maar daar werd tegen gehouden door de Britse FSA, de Amerikaanse toezichthouder was misschien niet zo goed op de hoogte doordat de audit door een niet-Amerikaans bedrijf werd gedaan.. Marlene Haas was voor een lezing te gast bij het Tinbergen Instituut in Amsterdam. |
