Nederlands: Gemeentelijk monument uit 1900 in Gouda. Oorspronkelijk was dit een politiebureau, ontworpen door stadsarchitect L. Burgersdijk. Het gebouw bestond uit twee bouwdelen met daartussen een binnenplaats. De voorzijde aan de Markt, was bestemd voor de commissaris en de klerk, aan de achterzijde waren het cachots en een nachtverblijf. Het gebouw heeft een bakstenen trapgevel in neorenaissancestijl, De gevel is bekleed met natuursteen, tussen de twee verdiepingen zijn natuurstenen lisenen. De geveltop is versierd met kegels en bollen, de bekroning van de gevel heeft een nis en het wapen van Gouda. Daar boven bevindt zich een rondboog op twee pilasters, afgedekt door driehoekig fronton. Tot 1957 was het pand in gebruik als politiebureau, daarna was er achter een volgens een gemeentelijke dienst, een winkel en een radiostation te samen en in 2016 een eetgelegenheid in gevestigd.
