| Description |
English: Market Place, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, seen from the southwest after the Charter Fair, with St Giles' parish church on the right. The fair closed late on Saturday evening but before mid-day on Sunday the Market Place had been cleared as the showmen worked through the night to take down their rides and sideshows ready to depart. A few lorries remained in the surrounding streets and it would be a few days later before the Magic Mouse roller coaster in Pimlico was eventually dismantled. |
