Description
English: Market Place, Reading, looking south-westwards to the Buttermarket, 17 June 1907. A parade of commercial vehicles is in progress, organised by the Commercial Motor Users' Association. On the south side can be seen No. 48 (James Golder, bookseller, stationer and printer); No. 47 (John Smith and Son, hairdressers); and No. 46 (Bradley's Pharmacy). West side: No. 1 Buttermarket (Frank Gale, cycle dealer); Nos. 44 and 45 Market Place (James R. P.
