In diesem Gebäude wohnte von Oktober 1898 bis Mai 1899 der große amerikanische Schriftsteller Samuel Langhorne Clemens (1835-1910) bekannt als MARK TWAIN

Mark Twain wurde von Kaiser Franz Joseph I. in Privataudienz empfangen. Kam zum Trauerzug von Kaiserin Elisabeth (17.9.1898) nach Wien.

Mark Twain was received in audience by Emperor Franz Joseph I. Came to the funeral of Empress Elisabeth (17.9.1898) in Vienna.
