Miss Marjorie Wahl. Marjorie Ann Wahl Becomes Fiance Of Lieut. Leslie Macdonell Of Canada. At a recent buffet supper for 50 persons announcement was made of the engagement of Mrs. Marjorie Ann Wahl daughter of Mrs. John Wahl, Oakwood Avenue, Rye and the late Mr. Wahl to Lieut. A. Leslie Macdonell aim of Capt. and Mrs. Leslie Macdonnell of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Miss Wahl is a graduate of Rye High School and attended the Westchester Commercial School. She is employed as a secretary by the Grey Advertising Agency, New York. Lieut. Macdonell was graduated from the Victoria High School and Brockville (Ontario) Military Academy. He is now completing his studies in mechanical engineering at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He is a cousin of Charles B. McBride of Port Chester. Miss Wahl returned recently from a plane trip to spend the holidays with Capt. and Mrs. Macdonell.
