ACAJUTLA, El Salvador (April 21, 2018) Maritime Prepositioning Force Utility Boat 27, operated by Sailors from Assault Craft Unit 2, serves as the medical boat during Joint Logistics Over the Shore (JLOTS) 2018. JLOTS-18 marks the beginning of U.S. Southern Command's exercise Beyond the Horizon, led by U.S. Army South, that helps to bolster regional and partner relations through humanitarian and civic assistance projects, medical readiness exercises and exercise related construction projects taking place in El Salvador.
