Logging company pictured is likely the Saddle Mountain Logging Company, which was based in Astoria in Clatsop County, not to be confused with the Saddle Mountain Lumber Company of Klamath Falls. The Saddle Mountain Logging Company was organized in 1920 and sold its property in 1922 to the Eastern & Western Lumber Company, along with 25 miles of railroad known as the Lewis & Clark Railroad.
