Description

EAST CHINA SEA (Aug. 23, 2016) Marines assigned to Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU), maneuver amphibious assault vehicles in the waters around the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42). Germantown, attached to Expeditionary Strike Group 7, is underway in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
