English: Marines helocast from a CH-53E Super Stallion Nov. 5 at White Beach Naval Facility during the scout swimmers course. Helocasting requires the Marines to hover 10 feet above the water in an aircraft and jump out with all their gear. Marines were also trained to helocast with a combat rubber raiding craft aboard in order to have transportation to shore after diving into the water. The Marines are with various units across III Marine Expeditionary Force. The aircraft is assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
