Description

"Helping Hand: Leathernecks of the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines [1/7], lend a helping hand to one of their buddies as they cross the Vu Gia River, 15 miles southwest of Da Nang, Vietnam. The Marines had been conducting operations against the enemy and were returning to their home base for a well deserved rest (official USMC photo by Sergeant A. V. Huffman)."
