Not sure if the Hook family had any Maldon connections, although I seem to recall nearby Chelmsford coming up in census records. It does seem slightly out of place in this album, which contains mainly family portraits, and I'm wondering if it is a shot by our family photographer, or a commercially bought one that was pasted into the album. See more images from this fascinating Edwardian Hook family album. |
