Description
Français : Marine (navire tracté par un remorqueur) signée G. Gins. Vente Dumouchelles, Detroit (MI), 17 septembre 2022. Notice du lot 1351 : "A pair of oils on canvas by G. Gins. Each depicting a French sailing vessels; one in a harbor, one tied to a tug boat. Artist's signature to the lower left. Framed H 16" x L 12.75". From a home on Bluff Drive, Harbor Springs, Mich." Dans le catalogue de la vente, ce tableau est daté "circa 1920", mais il est à noter qu'un peintre nommé Georges Gins et habitant à Paris (46 rue Damrémont) a exposé une marine au Salon de Mulhouse en 1905 (voir la Base Salons du Musée d'Orsay).
