Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Van in Marigny neighborhood with inscription relating to the flooding of New Orleans ("Nawlinz" in slangy pronounciation) by the waters of Lake Pontchartrain with the levee failures of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, urging locals to pick up tools and "get busy" (rebuilding). "GITOWDADUHÉ" is a phonetic renderig of the phrase "Get out of the way", presumably rendered to look like pseudo-Creole French and make the onlooker take a moment to figure it out.
