Čeština: Marie Kotrbová (rozená Kolcová) (* 26. ledna 1904 Praha–Žižkov – 24. října 1942 koncentrační tábor Mauthausen) byla vlastenecky založená učitelka hlásící se k církvi českobratrské evangelické. V říčanském a sedlčanském okrese učila na obecních školách. Spolu se svým manželem Františkem Kotrbou se za Protektorátu Čechy a Morava zapojila do protiněmeckého odboje. Po zatčení, výsleších a věznění byla převezena do koncentračního tábora Mauthausen, kde byla 24. října 1942 v 8.58 hodin zastřelena ranou do týla.
English: Marie Kotrbová (née Kolcová) (* 26 January 1904 Prague-Žižkov - 24 October 1942 Mauthausen concentration camp) was a patriotic teacher who belonged to the Czech Brethren Evangelical Church. She taught in municipal schools in the Říčany and Sedlčany districts. Together with her husband František Kotrba, she joined the anti-German resistance during the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. After being arrested, interrogated and imprisoned, she was taken to the Mauthausen concentration camp, where she was shot in the back of the head at 8.58 a.m. on 24 October 1942. |
