"Executed about 1750, it is a portrait of Marie Auguste Anna, nee Princess of Thurn and Taxis, Duchess consort of Wuerttemberg (1706-1756; see our images nr.9-10). She bears here Dame Grand Cross of the Maltese (St. John) Order (1735) and badge of the Russian Ladies Order of St.Catherine (1745).
