Čeština: Manželka Josefa Churavého - Marie Churavá rozená Volfová (* 1897 - † 1982) se syny. Blíže k ní stojí (s brýlemi) mladší syn Miloslav Churavý (* 1926 - † 2014), dále od ní stojí (na levé straně fotografie) starší syn Václav Churavý (* 1923 - † 2002). Snímek byl nalezen v pozůstalosti po synech Josefa Churavého. Fotografie byla pořízena v blíže nespecifikované fotoatelieru neznámým fotografem a na rubu je datována: březen 1942. V této době byl plukovník Josef Churavý již půl roku vězněn a do jeho popravy v Praze na Kobyliské střelnici (dne 30. června 1942) zbývaly necelé tři měsíce. Poslední moták z Pankrácké věznice od Josefa Churavého doručený rodině nesl datum 12. dubna 1942. Poslední návštěva rodinných příslušníků na Pankráci se uskutečnila 14. dubna 1942.
Plukovník Josef Churavý (* 1894 – † 1942) (brigádní generál in memoriam). Příslušník československých legií v Rusku. Za protektorátu byl jednou z nejvýznamnějších postav II. odboje, kde působli jako čelný představitel ilegální vojenské odboové organizace "Obrana národa". Spolupracovník zpravodajsko - sabotážní skupiny "Tři králové" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek).
English: Wife of Josef Churavy - Marie Churavá born as Volfová (* 1897 - † 1982) with her sons. The younger son Miloslav Churavý (* 1926 - † 2014) is closer to her (with glasses), older son Václav Churavý (* 1923 - † 2002) is standing on the left side of photo. The photo was found in the inheritance after dead of the sons of Josef Churavý. The photograph was taken in an unknown photo atelier made by an unknown photographer and on the reverse side is dated: March 1942. At that time (March 1942), Colonel Josef Churavy was already imprisoned for half a year. To his dead penalty in Prague at the Kobylisy shooting range (30 June 1942) remained less than three months. The last secret message (written by Josef Churavý and addressed to his family) from Pankrác Prison was dated at 12 April 1942. The last visit of family members to Pankrác took place on April 14, 1942.
Colonel Josef Churavý (* 1894 – † 1942) (Brigadier General in memoriam). A member of the Czechoslovak legions in Russia. In time of the protectorate was one of the most important persons of anti-nazi resistance. He worked as the leading representative of the illegal military organization "Defence of the Nation". Coworker of the intelligence - sabotage group named "Three Kings" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek). |
